My client is a premier quantitative trading firm seeking an exceptional Quantitative Researcher to join a growing team in London. As a key member of the research team, you will develop cutting-edge systematic trading strategies using advanced statistical methods and diverse datasets. Your work will focus around the creation of predictive signals derived from large datasets which will enable alpha generation for the desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative quantitative trading strategies
- Analyze complex datasets across multiple time horizons to identify profitable patterns
- Implement signals and integrate datasets within a global execution platform
- Monitor and optimize signal performance and model behaviour
- Drive the full research cycle from conception to implementation
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field)
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, R, Matlab, C++, or C#)
- Proven track record in developing successful systematic strategies – must be from a systematic/ algo/ HFT trading background
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work across global teams
Desired Skills
- Experience in machine learning, NLP, or AI techniques
- Background in analyzing large-scale datasets across multiple timeframes
