To advance the global cyber security program, we are looking for an AI Engineer for our growing Analytics Team.

The Opportunity

The AI Engineer on the AI team will be involved in the creation and upkeep of AI-driven applications, tools, and systems following QVC/QI’s strategic directions. You will work together with other engineers, data scientists, and product managers to translate business needs into workable technical outcomes and contribute to the development of AI solutions.

You will also help tune current systems and processes to ensure their efficacy and will be involved in troubleshooting technical challenges as they arise. By staying updated with the latest in AI technology and practices, the AI Engineer will aid in keeping QVC/QI at the forefront of the industry..

Your Impact

• Build responsive, AI-powered applications using React, TypeScript, and Python tailored to QVC’s retail and business needs.
• Develop scalable front- and back-end services in Python/Node.js to support AI models and data workflows.
• Design and maintain APIs for seamless integration between systems.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure security and compliance with QVC’s IT standards.
• Collaborate with business and data science teams to identify and implement AI opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align on solutions.
• Create clear documentation for systems, APIs, and user guides.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders proactively.

What You Bring

• Experience with React.js or other modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js for developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (nice to have).
• Understanding of retail processes and industry-specific challenges.
• A creative mindset with a problem-solving approach.
